Special dual-fluid nozzles for SCR applications.
The Lechler 1AW nozzle works according to a newly developed and patented atomization principle. It separates the supplied spray air into primary and secondary airflow. Thanks to the special inlet geometry, the secondary air exits through an annular gap and causes very fine atomization in the edge area of the spray. This dual-fluid nozzle enables the best droplet spectrum and shortest evaporation distances, while also allowing very good control of the flow rate. Head caps specifically designed for these nozzles multiply flow rates and adjust the spray pattern to the requirements at the injection point.
