The need to manage very different casting sizes and steel grades has led to more complex design of casting machines, process control equipment and devices targeting the quality of the casting product. To meet the quality requirements of installations offering a wide range of formats and steel grades, Ergolines has developed a special range of mixers that can be moved along the casting line so that they are always positioned to give the best metallurgical results. The mixer also consists of two halves that can be opened by a special pneumatic system to facilitate the removal of both the cast product and the dummy bar.
