  • Thickness: 1 mm - 4 mm (0.04 - 0.16 inch)
  • Available with standard pin hole arrangements or single slots
Knife Materials
  • Standard material is M2 Super High Speed Steel.
  • Special saws are produced from M35 Cobalt Steel for cutting high alloy steels.
Surface Treatments:
  • Standard Coating is steam treated oxide
  • Reduces friction and metal adhesion
  • Abrasion resistance
Specialist Coatings, widely used for their low friction properties allows higher cutting speeds:
  • Titanium Nitride (TiN) is recommended for mild steel, medium hard steel, hard steel and stainless steels (Gold Color)
  • Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAlN) recommended for stainless steel, Ni-based alloys, refractory stainless, titanium and cast iron. (Bronze Color)
Although used to a lesser extent, the following are also available:
  • Titanium Carbon Nitride (TiCN) 140kg/mm² (Purple Colour) recommended for mold steel and hard steel
  • Recommended for Hard Chrome, stainless steel, refractory stainless, brass, copper, aluminum and Al alloys. (Silver Gray Color)
