Clean-in-Place System for dual-fluid nozzle spray tubes.
Clean-in-Place System for dual-fluid nozzle spray tubes.
In semi-dry flue gas cleaning processes of power plants, an alkaline scrubbing suspension, usually consisting of milk of lime, is injected into the hot flue gas. The droplets delivered through dual-fluid nozzles evaporate with the transferred heat. At the same time, harmful substances such as SO2, HCl and HF also react with the reaction agent in the washing liquid.
Flushing suspension often causes harmful deposits and blockages in nozzles and pipelines. Continuous and safe operation of the system was often not possible without regular disassembly and cleaning of the lance nozzles. Good process results often had to be purchased with a high maintenance effort.
With the Lechler LOC Cleaning-in-Place System, extensive disassembly operations, unnecessary downtime and personnel costs thus become unnecessary.
